I love love love trying new beauty products — there are so many good ones out there! I’m by no means an expert, but I have picked up some products the past few years that I haven’t been able to let go of:
FACE
Lancome Paris Skin Feels Good Tinted Moisturizer: I’m not somebody who likes to cake product on my face– I really strive for a natural, even look. I used to LOVE the Too Faced Tinted Moisturizer, but they discontinued it. After being helped by an awesome Ulta employee, we found this similar product and I’ve been in love since. This is also a great product for all ages, as my mom uses it and loves it as well!
Glossier Skin Tint: This is my go-to in the summer or any no- makeup days. This is very light-weight and offers very light coverage. I love wearing in the summer because it doesn’t cover up my freckles 🙂
Glossier Concealer: I love the thicker-feeling formula of this concealer, because it seems to cover my blemishes very well. I use this specifically for covering up any red spots that may appear.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer: This is quite possibly my makeup bag must-have. I have this in two colors, light sand for under-eye and tan for any contouring I do. This is the only under-eye/ contouring concealer I’ve found that doesn’t crease and blends nicely. A little goes a long way here, so it lasts forever! Highly recommend you trying if you haven’t yet.
Glossier Cloud Paint: This stuff is one of my favorites in my makeup bag. I got to try this out at the Austin pop-up shop and I’ve been hooked ever since. A little drop of this stuff leaves my cheeks looking glowy and not like I don’t see the sun in months 😉
Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer: Speaking of never seeing the sun- this bronzer is a must-have. For being relatively pale, this doesn’t make me too orange, as it has a skin colored component of it. This product gives you the natural glow you might have if you lived somewhere that saw the sun.
Glossier Niteshine Highlighter: I’ve never been a huge highlighter gal and this is a winner for me! Just like all Glossier products, a little goes a long way. I have the shade “pale pearl”.
EYES (+ Eye Brows)
Clinique Mascara: I’ve been swearing by this Clinique high-impact extreme volume makeup mascara for years now. I have never found a product that compares!
Colour Pop Build Your Own Palette: I made my mom and I both these palettes for Christmas and we’ve loved them so far. I have a mixture of neutral/ pink metallic, matte and pressed glitter in my palette. If you can’t seem to find a palette that has it all for you, I’d try making your own!
Stila Liquid Eye Shadow: I love this for days where I need a little more glitter in my life. I love how a little goes a long way and the glitter stays in place!
Ulta Brow Tint: I’ve been using this for over a year now and it is a must-have. I get the shade blonde and only use a little bit, as it comes on dark. It gives me the consistent fill I need.
LIPS:
Ulta Lip Liner: This is a good affordable lip liner option if you’re not trying to invest in a specific brand!
Buxom Plumping Lip Gloss: After trying the Too Faced Lip Injection plumping gloss, I was so scared to try another (huge allergic reaction). However, I had luck with Buxom and cannot wait to grow my collection! I have the shade Celeste.
Kylie Cosmetics Lip Blush: I have tried several of Kylie’s lip products and haven’t honestly loved any (I found them drying and the color faded super fast). This lip blush feels like you aren’t wearing anything- which is the best in my opinion!
